Shopp’Art, the contraction of the words Shopping and Art as a reference to Pop Art, is a company dedicated to providing personalised shopping and unique culture and art tours (exclusive art tours), which offers high-end expertise, and unique services to fulfil the most demanding requirements.
Sophie Seror created this concept in 2008. It came from the fact that Aix en Provence is a town that combines the pleasures of shopping with its numerous luxury boutiques and the nobility of its heritage and beautiful architecture. Joining luxury/fashion and art, which go hand in hand, seemed like an obvious decision.
Sophie Seror, founder of Shopp’Art, has a great deal of knowledge in the luxury and art sectors, and has gathered over the years a great amount of contacts in those industries.
Having worked professionally on an international level for many years, she has solid experience in the service industry, speaks English fluently and has a particular interest in foreign languages.
Her favourite designers? Jean Patou, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Thierry Mugler and the unexpected Alexandre Vauthier for his laser work with fabric that hugs curves with ultra-precision. For their vision with each collection telling a story of how women are: In Love, Audacious, Capricious, Charismatic, Creative, Colourful, Committed, Elegant, Exuberant, Fatal, Futuristic, Hybrid, Timeless, Militant, Modern, Passionate, Sporty, Fearless…
The Vichy pattern was chosen intentionally, as a graphic and philosophic signature for Shopp’Art. This pattern is an integral part of the values held by our company.
Forever anchored in our collective memories, in France as well as overseas, this fabric represents timelessness, a sure thing as elegant as polka dots or stripes. It also comprises an epicurean notion tied to pots of jam, produce from the land and culinary art.
Finally, it is a homage to the parents of Shopp’Art’s creator, who both wore it, particularly her mother who wore it as early as 1947 on her first pink vichy dress, well before Brigitte Bardot, at a time when prêt-à-porter didn’t exist yet.
Shopp’Art services a high-end international clientele, and strongly values quality of service, reactivity, trust and discretion for their client’s complete satisfaction.
